Chris Allen Named DPS Commercial Building Division Chief

DPS Deputy Director Ehsan Motazedi announced on April 2, 2026, that Chris Allen has been appointed chief of the DPS Commercial Building Construction division. Allen brings two decades of DPS experience, having served as a permit technician, commercial inspector, commercial field supervisor, and assistant to the director. He holds multiple International Code Council certifications and a Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia University.
