Sayles Named HHS Committee Chair, Tour Starts Dec. 15

Montgomery County Councilmember At-Large Laurie-Anne Sayles was appointed chair of the Council's Health and Human Services Committee on Dec. 9, 2025, succeeding former chair Gabe Albornoz. Beginning Dec. 15, Sayles will conduct a weeklong tour of county health and human services facilities and community partners — including behavioral health, homelessness services, and primary care organizations — to inform the HHS Committee's agenda for Fiscal Year 2027 and beyond. All site visits are open to the public.
