MCASAC Waives Pet Adoption Fees Dec. 20–21 in Derwood

Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC) will waive all adoption fees on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 20–21, 2025, as part of its 'Home for the Holidays' event. The center, located at 7315 Muncaster Mill Road in Derwood, will operate noon–5 p.m. both days; Saturday will use an appointment system starting Dec. 14, while Sunday is open to walk-ins. Appointments can be scheduled through the MCASAC website's 'How to Adopt' section.
