4th District Police Station Relocation Gets $994K, $45M Planned for Replacement

A Public Safety Committee worksession reviewed a $994,000 request to temporarily relocate the 4th District Police Station, which has chronic plumbing, HVAC, mold, and space problems. The County has identified approximately $45 million in placeholder funding for a permanent replacement station. During the transition, MCPD plans to maintain community access via the Olney Satellite Station and the nearby 3rd District Station, and expand telephone reporting capabilities.
