Ride On Flex 918 On-Demand Zero-Fare Service Launches February 2026

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation will launch Ride On Flex 918, a zero-fare on-demand neighborhood transit service, in February 2026 along the New Hampshire Avenue corridor. The service will connect Sandy Spring, Cloverly, Colesville, and White Oak, replacing portions of the discontinued Metrobus Z2 route. Riders can request trips via the Ride On Flex mobile app or by calling the Flex Call Center at 240-301-3842.
