Metrorail will operate on a regular schedule from 5 a.m. to midnight on Dec. 24, 2025, then shift to a reduced Sunday service schedule from 7 a.m. to midnight on Christmas Day, Dec. 25. Metrobus will run its regular schedule on Dec. 24 and a Sunday schedule on Dec. 25. The TRiPS Silver Spring commuter store will be closed on Dec. 25, while operating regular hours (6 a.m.–6 p.m.) on Dec. 24.
