Montgomery County government offices, MC 311, libraries, Alcohol Beverage Services stores, and the Department of Permitting Services will be closed on New Year's Day, Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. MC 311 will close early on Dec. 31 (7 a.m.–5 p.m.), library branches will close at 6 p.m. on Dec. 31, and ABS stores will close at 5 p.m. on Dec. 31. State offices, courts, and Motor Vehicle Administration offices will also be closed on Jan. 1.
