Metrorail will operate on a regular weekday schedule from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Dec. 31, 2025, then shift to a reduced Sunday schedule from 7 a.m. to midnight on New Year's Day, Jan. 1, 2026. Metrobus will run its regular schedule on Dec. 31 and a Sunday service schedule on Jan. 1. The TRiPS Silver Spring commuter store and TRiPS mobile commuter store will both be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
