Montgomery County's Animal Services and Adoption Center is waiving all adoption fees during its "Home for the Holidays" event on Saturday and Sunday, December 20–21, 2025, from noon to 5 p.m. Appointments are required on Saturday to reduce wait times; walk-ins are welcome on Sunday as space allows. The event is held at the Adoption Center in Derwood.
