Council Seeks Applicants for Retirement Investment Board Seats

The Montgomery County Council is seeking applicants for the Council-recommended representative seats on the Board of Investment Trustees for the Montgomery County Employee Retirement Plans and the Board of Trustees for the Consolidated Retiree Health Benefits Trust. The vacancy was created when Council representative Barry Kaplan's second term expired in March 2026. The two boards collectively oversee approximately $6.9 billion in assets for roughly 16,500 active and retired county employees. Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026, and should be emailed or mailed to Council President Fani-González at the Stella B. Werner Council Office Building in Rockville.
