$30K Grant Funds Food Recovery Network Coordination

The Montgomery County Office of Food Systems Resilience awarded a $30,000 FY26 Food Recovery Network Coordination Grant to the Montgomery County Food Council (MCFC). MCFC will serve as the primary coordinating organization for the County's newly formed Food Recovery Collaborative (FRC), convening food recovery partners, facilitating data and resource sharing, and conducting a network assessment of service area coverage. The Collaborative, which includes all OFSR food recovery grantees, will meet bi-monthly.
