80% of County Buildings Meet June 1 Benchmarking Deadline

More than 80% of covered commercial and multifamily buildings in Montgomery County submitted energy benchmarking reports by the June 1, 2026 deadline, with approximately 90% either submitted or under extension. The County will begin issuing Notice of Violation letters to properties that have not complied or have reports pending revision. Building owners can check their reporting status at mcbeps.org.
