Rec Assist 2026 Applications Open for $400 Activity Scholarships

Montgomery County Recreation is accepting applications for its 2026 Rec Assist financial assistance program, which provides eligible County residents a $400 scholarship to use toward most activities and memberships. Residents who receive public assistance through programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, FARMS, or TCA — or whose children attend a MCPS school participating in the Community Eligibility Provision — are eligible. Applications are accepted online, by mail, or in person at 2425 Reedie Drive, 10th floor, Wheaton, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
