GO Committee Reviews FY27 Budget for County Operations

The Government Operations and Fiscal Policy (GO) Committee, chaired by Councilmember Kate Stewart, meets April 16, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. to review multiple FY27 Operating Budget items including the Leases NDA ($22.8M, up 33.7%), the Office of Management and Budget ($8.6M), the Office of the Inspector General ($4.2M), the Office of Legislative Oversight ($2.9M), the Office of the County Council ($20.7M), and several other non-departmental accounts. The Leases NDA increase is largely driven by relocation of the MCPS bus depot from Crabbs Branch Way to a new property on Gude Drive and Old Dover Road.
