Maryland Offers Solar Grants Up to $500K for Commercial Properties

The Maryland Energy Administration is accepting applications through February 9, 2026, for the Commercial and Canopy Solar Program, which provides grants to support solar installations on commercial properties benefiting low-to-moderate income and overburdened communities. Eligible installations include rooftop, ground-mounted, and canopy solar systems over parking or water. The maximum grant is $500,000 per property owner.
