Illumination Station Bulb-Swap Events at County Libraries

Montgomery County's Department of Environmental Protection is hosting Illumination Station events at public libraries throughout January 2026. Residents can swap out old incandescent or compact fluorescent bulbs and receive information on lowering energy bills. The county notes that lighting accounts for about 12% of a typical home's total energy bill.
