County FY2025 Climate Action Plan Report Shows 63 Actions Complete

Montgomery County has released its Fiscal Year 2025 Climate Action Plan Annual Report, showing that 80 of 84 outlined actions have been initiated, with 63 completed, well underway, or integrated into county operations. A notable achievement was installation of the county's third Mesonet weather station, developed in partnership with the University of Maryland Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Science. The report documents progress toward the county's climate, resilience, and environmental equity goals.
