MLK Day Transit, Parking Schedule Set for Jan. 19

Montgomery County offices and transit services will operate on holiday schedules on Monday, Jan. 19, for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Ride On, extRa, and Flex bus lines will run holiday service; Metrorail operates 5 a.m.–midnight on a weekend schedule; MARC runs an R schedule on all three lines. Public parking at Bethesda, Silver Spring, and Wheaton garages, lots, and curbside meters will be free, and the TRiPS Commuter Store at Silver Spring Transit Center will be open 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
