Active Aging Week Oct. 5–11 Offers 50-Plus Events for Adults 55+

Montgomery County will celebrate Active Aging Week from Oct. 5–11, 2026, with more than 50 programs and activities for adults 55 and older. The signature kick-off event, 'Go, Grow, and Get Active,' runs from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 5 at the Nancy H. Dacek North Potomac Community Recreation Center and includes over 40 activities such as yoga, tai chi, pickleball, and a health screening fair. Registration is required for the kick-off event.
