Montgomery County Council May 13, 2026
The Montgomery County Council and Prince George's County Council will hold their annual bi-county budget meeting on May 14, 2026, starting at 9 a.m. The councils are expected to vote on a WSSC Water System Development Charge increase of 2.4 percent for FY2027, plus a CPI-related increase in the maximum allowable charge, intended to address an ongoing revenue gap in the SDC fund. The Transportation and Environment Committee has recommended concurring with WSSC Water's proposal.
