Budget Boosts Food Systems, Agriculture Reserve Funding

The Montgomery County FY27 budget allocates $1.6 million to the Office of Agriculture to support local farms and preserve the Agricultural Reserve. An additional $13 million is directed to the Office of Food Systems Resilience to expand access to fresh, locally grown food across all zip codes in the county.
