Charter Review Commission Submits 2026 Report to Council

Charter Review Commission May 7, 2026
The Charter Review Commission transmitted its 2026 report on the Montgomery County Charter to the County Council on May 7, 2026. The Council will review the report and may adopt a resolution placing proposed Charter amendments on the November 2026 general election ballot. If the Council acts, the County Attorney must certify any ballot questions to the State Board of Elections no later than July 31, 2026.
