CIP Funds New District 4 Police Station, Fire Station, Diversion Center

The FY27-32 Capital Improvements Program includes $53.9 million for Police Department capital projects, including $40 million for a new District 4 Police Station. The CIP also funds construction of the North Bethesda Fire Station and $157.2 million for Fire and Rescue projects overall. A $25.4 million appropriation is approved for the Diversion Center, which will provide crisis stabilization and referral services for adults to reduce pressure on emergency rooms and first responders.
