Council Extends Deadline for Retirement Board Trustee Applicants

The Montgomery County Council has extended its deadline for applicants to fill the Council-recommended representative vacancy on the Board of Investment Trustees for the Montgomery County Employee Retirement Plans and the Board of Trustees for the Consolidated Retiree Health Benefits Trust. The seat became vacant after the second full term of Council representative Barry Kaplan expired in March 2026. Applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, and should be emailed or mailed to Council President Fani-González at the Stella B. Werner Council Office Building in Rockville.
