Council Hears Testimony on Job Creation Project Zoning Measure ZTA 26-05

The Montgomery County Council held a public hearing on ZTA 26-05, introduced by Council President Fani-González, which would rename the Signature Business Headquarters designation to "Job Creation Project" and provide expedited zoning approvals for employers in strategic industries or those generating at least 200 jobs. Business community members testified in support of the measure. The Planning, Housing and Parks (PHP) Committee will take up the measure at a later date.
