Council Introduces Community Choice Energy Aggregation Bill

The Montgomery County Council introduced Expedited Bill 27-25, which would establish a Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) program for environmental sustainability. A public hearing on the bill is scheduled for September 9, 2025 at 1:30PM. Community Choice Aggregation allows local governments to procure electricity on behalf of residents.
