Council Reviews $217.8M Ride On Mass Transit Budget

The Montgomery County Council will review the $217.8 million FY27 Mass Transit Fund Operating Budget on May 6, 2026, a $7 million or three percent increase from FY26. The budget includes more than $1.1 million in enhancements, including expansion of Flex bus service to Poolesville and Damascus and all-day Burtonsville Flash bus service by 2027. The Transportation and Environment Committee recommends placing two items totaling more than $1.1 million on the reconciliation list.
