Council to Vote on CEDAW Support Resolution March 3

The Montgomery County Council will introduce and is expected to vote on a resolution supporting the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) on March 3, 2026. The resolution would affirm the Council's support for CEDAW's principles and the County's commitment to advancing gender equity, including expanding access to early care and education. The Council will work with the Montgomery County Commission for Women and community partners in this effort.
