County Expands Contracting for Women- and Veteran-Owned Firms

Montgomery County has expanded contracting opportunities targeting women-owned and veteran-owned businesses. The expansion is part of the county's socio-economic procurement programs, which also include the Local Small Business Reserve Program (LSBRP) and the Minority, Female and Disabled (MFD) subcontracting program. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has been added as a new approved certifying agency for MFD program participation.
