County Expands Drone First Responder Program to Six Stations

Montgomery County is upgrading its Drone as First Responder Program so that drones automatically launch from six new docking stations spread across the county. The first installations cover downtown Silver Spring, White Oak, Germantown, and the Gaithersburg/Montgomery Village areas. Expansions to Bethesda and Wheaton are also planned for summer 2026.
