Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, Council President Natali Fani-González, and agency directors including MCDOT's Chris Conklin and Emergency Management's Luke Hodgson are holding a winter storm preparedness briefing on Friday, January 23 at 2 p.m. The event takes place at MCDOT's Maintenance and Transit Operations Center in Rockville and includes a tour of salt domes and snow truck staging areas. Officials from Fire and Rescue, Public Health, and homelessness services are also participating.
