County Launches $1.6M Farm-to-Institution Food Aggregation Grant

Montgomery County's Office of Food Systems Resilience (OFSR) has launched the FY26 Food Aggregation Grant Program, offering a single grant of $550,000 in year one and up to $1.6 million over four years (June 30, 2026–June 30, 2030). The program seeks experienced food aggregators and distributors to establish and operate a local food aggregation facility in Montgomery County, combining produce from small farms for sale to schools, hospitals, senior centers, and other institutional buyers. A virtual informational session is scheduled for February 12, 2026, and the Phase One application deadline is February 20, 2026.
