County Pushes 'Look Before You Lock' Hot Car Safety Campaign

Montgomery County, in conjunction with the Maryland State Child Fatality Review Team, has launched the "Where's Baby? Look Before You Lock" initiative to prevent Pediatric Vehicular Heatstroke (PVH). The campaign was prioritized following a child's death in a hot car in the county in May 2025. The effort aims to promote safety habits among parents and caregivers to prevent similar tragedies.
