County Seeks Applicants for Disability Commission's 25 Seats

County Executive Marc Elrich is seeking applicants to fill 25 vacancies on the Montgomery County Commission on People with Disabilities, including nine representatives of service organizations, three parents of a person with a disability, and 13 people with disabilities. The Commission advises the County Executive on programs and services for the county's roughly 190,000 residents with disabilities, with members serving three-year terms. The application deadline is October 5, 2026; the Commission meets virtually on the second Wednesday evening of each month, except July and August.
