County Seeks Nominations for African American Living Legends Award

Montgomery County is accepting nominations through May 20, 2026 for the 11th African American Living Legends Award, which honors African American elder residents (age 75+) for lifetime contributions to the community. County Executive Marc Elrich will make the final selections. Nominations must include a two-page narrative, a list of community contributions, and a preferred photo, submitted by email or mail to the Office of Human Rights.
