DEP Honors Eight Multi-Family Properties for Recycling Excellence

The Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection's Waste Reduction and Recycling Section (WRRS) announced its 2026 Multi-Family Waste Reduction and Recycling Achievement Award honorees in its Summer 2026 TRRAC Newsletter. Eight properties and green team members were recognized across three award categories for outstanding recycling programs, specialty material collection, and food scraps diversion. Honorees include Fox Hill Senior Living, Parkside Condominium, Palladian Condominium (Valerie Smallwood), Americana Centre Condominium Association, The Carleton of Chevy Chase, Old Georgetown Village Condominium, Silverton Condominium, and Whitley Park Condominium.
