DPS Fire Marshal: Consumer Fireworks Illegal in County

Montgomery County Fire Marshal Patsy Warnick has issued a reminder that all consumer fireworks, including sparklers, are illegal to use in Montgomery County. Only licensed professionals may display or discharge fireworks, and operators of professional displays must obtain permits from DPS. A list of permitted public displays will be posted on the DPS website before July 4.
