EC Committee Reviews $351.5M Montgomery College FY27 Budget

The Education and Culture (EC) Committee will hold its second meeting on April 27, 2026 to review Montgomery College's requested $351.5 million FY27 Operating Budget, a $4.6 million (1.3%) increase over FY26. The County Executive's recommended budget fully funds the college's request, including a County contribution of more than $155 million — $6.3 million above the required Maintenance of Effort level. Montgomery College operates campuses in Takoma Park, Silver Spring, Rockville, Germantown, and East County.
