ECON Committee to Hear Small Business Grant Bill July 13

The Montgomery County Council's Economic Development (ECON) Committee will meet Monday, July 13, 2026, to discuss Bill 22-26, which would repeal the sunset date on the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer Matching Grant Program, and to receive an update on 2025 Q4 economic development indicators. The committee will meet again July 23, 2026, in a joint work session with the Government Operations (GO) Committee on Expedited Bill 31-26 regarding Bond Authorization for the VIVA White Oak Development District.
