Emma's Torch Opens Culinary Training Center in Silver Spring

Emma's Torch, a nonprofit that trains refugees in the culinary arts, opened a new café location and flagship Culinary Training Center in Downtown Silver Spring. The center will prepare refugees for careers in the food industry. Councilmember Stewart participated in the opening.
