Council President Natali Fani-González is formally introducing ZTA 26-05, the Job Creation Project zoning measure, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. The bill would provide expedited approvals for developments in strategic industries as defined by the County's Economic Development Strategic Plan, or projects generating at least 200 jobs. A public hearing on the measure is scheduled for summer 2026.
