Flash BRT Blue Route Extends into Howard County Sept. 8

Beginning Tuesday, September 8, 2026, the Ride On Flash BRT Blue Route on US 29 will serve four new stops in Howard County: Columbia-Merriweather Drive, Columbia-Little Patuxent Parkway, Johns Hopkins APL, and Maple Lawn Boulevard. The extended route will operate Monday through Friday every 15–20 minutes during AM and PM peak hours, running between Downtown Silver Spring and Downtown Columbia. Temporary signage will be in place at the new Howard County stops until permanent stations are installed later in 2026.
