Flash BRT Expansion: Veirs Mill Road Construction Underway, Service by 2028

MCDOT has begun construction and utility work on the Veirs Mill Road Flash BRT corridor, part of a planned eight-route network of faster, high-frequency bus service across Montgomery County. Service on the Veirs Mill Road corridor is expected to begin in 2028. The broader Flash BRT network is also intended to improve pedestrian and bicycle safety along the corridors.
