Flood Risk Explorer Expands to Rock Creek Watersheds

County Executive Marc Elrich announced the expansion of the Flood Risk Explorer, an interactive flood risk mapping tool, to include the Middle Rock Creek and Lower Rock Creek watersheds as of June 2, 2026. The tool previously covered only the Sligo Creek watershed since its December launch. It shows relative flood likelihood under current climate conditions and projected future scenarios and is available on the County's Flooding webpage.
