Flood Risk Explorer Expands to Rock Creek Watersheds

Montgomery County has expanded its interactive Flood Risk Explorer to include the Middle Rock Creek and Lower Rock Creek watersheds, adding to the Sligo Creek coverage introduced last December. The tool is part of the County's Comprehensive Flood Management Plan, which also includes over 40 flood sensors in high-risk zones and a dedicated Storm Operations Center. The expansion was timed ahead of the Atlantic hurricane season.
