Flood Sensor Added in Laytonsville to Alert First Responders

Montgomery County is installing an additional flood sensor in Laytonsville to help first responders monitor rising flood waters at low water crossings. The sensor is part of a broader network that now includes 40 flood sensors installed across the County. The expansion is coordinated by the Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (OEMHS).
