Free County Parking, Taxi Surcharge During Snow Emergency

If Montgomery County declares a snow emergency during the January 24–26 storm, residents may park for free in county-owned parking lots. Parking on emergency snow routes will be restricted, and street parking in residential areas will be limited during post-storm cleanup. Taxis operating during a declared snow emergency are permitted to charge an additional $2.50 surcharge per trip.
