Montgomery Energy Connection is encouraging residents to schedule a Quick Home Energy Checkup through their utility provider — BGE, Pepco, or Potomac Edison. Qualifying customers may receive a free smart thermostat as part of the checkup. Appointments are available in-person or virtually depending on the utility.
