FY27 Budget Includes $152.7M for Affordable Housing

County Executive Elrich's FY27 budget includes $152.7 million for affordable housing initiatives, comprising $52.3 million for the Housing Initiative Fund (including $28.4 million for rental assistance) and $100.4 million in the Capital Improvements Program for affordable housing acquisition and preservation. An additional $64 million in new funding for preservation and production from taxable bonds is included in the CIP.
