Lakeforest Transit Center Redevelopment Breaks Ground in Gaithersburg

Montgomery County has begun the first phase of relocating and redeveloping the Lakeforest Transit Center at the former Lakeforest Mall site in Gaithersburg. The project will serve eight Ride On bus routes and accommodate the planned MD 355 Flash Bus Rapid Transit corridor. Phase one involves preparing two acres of land, with grading and site work expected to take approximately one year.
